~It’s good to know that from time to time UCLAN supports and promotes professional people in their field of work to deliver first class lectures to an audience of engaged students who are in the midst of their studying and by hearing and taking appropriate notes can qualify to be as established in the future world of employment just as the speaker highlights.

Next Thursday January 18th from 6.30-8.30pm interested students can listen to :- ‘ Industry into Academia :- A Real World - Approach’. It will be held at the Greenbank Lecture Theatre at the Greenbank building.

Professor Brian Henderson will be speaking on the above subject and as  a Director of North Composites Engineering Ltd he knows his field well with his overall objective to outline his insight and profitable link to industrial needs that are required for sustainability and growth into education and training structures.

This exciting approach will guarantee  partnership with industry and academia, supporting  the introduction of real-world skills and innovation at a faster application rate to add value to potential and existing employees.

Brian has recently become a Visiting Professor of Composite Skills and Employability at UCLAN’S School of Engineering, and is supported by the Royal Academy of Engineering. So you can expect an interesting lecture which will help the students to plan ahead after their time at University.
