~Established musicians such as Coldplay and Paul Weller will no doubt have jamming sessions to experiment with their sound and to create new music for a forthcoming album. They may though at times clash with personalities and some may favour other influences to direct their music.

If you’re a musician yourself you could have experienced the above or you may be learning and have a desire to interact with other musicians in order to progress and learn from others.

Thankfully, in Preston Lancashire there is a group that is free from ego -centred pride and will help you create new music  with a friendly bunch of like minded individuals.

Simply called ‘Rhythm Jammin’,  it meets  this Saturday 13th January from 1.30pm-3.30pm at Room 226 of the Media Factory at UCLAN.

This circle of music lovers would you like  to bring an instrument you can play either drums, guitar, ukulele, woodwind, your personal voice or just clapping to the beat of the music. All abilities welcome from complete beginner to established pro.

It is open to UCLAN staff, students and the interested public. A request of £3/£5 is required. This is part of UCLAN’s ‘Something for Everyone’ project, embracing all in the community regardless of race, gender, ethnicity etc, a collective unit that encourages all to get involved.
