~Early December last year many of us were preparing for the festive season and as time progressed some of us were engaging in new year celebrations. Think though of creative individuals, those across the Lancashire region, at school working on an art project, at work on a creative design or in the family painting with the young ones.

Since the 9th December 2017 The Harris Museum and Art Gallery has held it’s annual exhibition. It culminates on 21st January 2018 but there is  a chance to engage with local artists and see their work this coming Saturday 13th January between 11am -4pm in the afternoon.

There will be drawing in the gallery and crafty workshops for the kids and live performances for the adults. In addition there is a special cream tea offer in the museum café.

The Harris Open is a fresh and vibrant annual exhibition that gives the people of Preston a chance to shine. Admission is completely free just come with an open mind about art and the people who create it.
