Preston Samba Dancers - UCLAN - 10am - 12noon - 16/12/17
Dec, 12 2017
~If you’ve been watching the current series of Strictly Come Dancing and feel momentarily inspired to learn to dance yourself then it’s time to let that moment last longer than a mere 12 weeks.
You and your friends could be learning an Afro - Brazilian dance in a relaxed environment for two hours at the weekend.
On Saturday December 16th from 10am -12noon UCLAN are inviting people to ‘Preston Samba Dancers’. It will take place in Room 215 of the Media Factory on Kirkham Street, Preston.
The event is part of UCLAN’S Something for Everyone so they are reaching out to the people of Preston who may initially hesitate to get involved in an event like this, but, because of the project’s non-judgemental approach it welcomes all from a variety of backgrounds.
The first session is free to attend then the following Saturday it will be £2.50- £5.50 based on ability to pay. For further information call:- 01772 894798. (Occasionally sessions are cancelled in order to participate in public events so please get in contact before your first session to confirm it is taking place)
