Starsailor Gig - Preston Guild Hall - 7pm - 20/12/17

Nov, 13 2017

~For a band to have been formed in a post - Britpop era circa the year  2000 and having released four albums over a period of eight years until a period of rest began from 2009 - 2014, it seems fitting therefore that a classic indie line-up comes back in style.

Starsailor announced their official reunion on 23rd May 2014. Fans were ecstatic and the band began performing live again almost immediately. A greatest hits collection was a natural decision to release in September 2015.

Now, in 2017 ‘All this Life’ has been released and to celebrate the band are playing an exclusive gig in a city near you.

Simply titled, ‘Butter Pies and Lullabies, End of Year Party’ , the band will be performing at The Preston Guild Hall on Wednesday 20th December. Tickets are priced from £21.50 and can be obtained by contacting the Box Office on :- 01772 80 44 44. Starsailor will be hitting the stage at approximately 7pm so make sure you arrive early to avoid  disappointment.

If you’re unfamiliar with the area, just log in Lancaster Road, Preston, PR1 1HT, opposite the Town Hall into your SAT NAV.

Keyboardist Barry Westhead speaks positively about the new album and the future for the Wigan four -piece,

“The ultimate goal with this album is to hopefully satisfy our fans, and prove to ourselves that we can still do what we do well. If we get new fans on board along the way that would be great. If we get the chance to make another record after this one, it would mean we have achieved what we have set out to do with this album. That to me would be success.”
