Embrace Plus Support LIVE In Preston 4/11/17

~As Britpop was drawing to a close in 1997 it was apparent that new indie bands were coming out of the woodwork and creating a different movement. Bands such as Travis, Keane and  Embrace which, am sure fans would agree, combined the authentic rock appeal of Oasis and the melancholy lyricism of Coldplay.

On Saturday 4th November you and your mates could  watch Embrace perform all the classics such as “Gravity”, “Natures Law” and “All You Good Good People” .  The well received audience will gather at  the LIVE venue located at The Preston Guild Hall which fills, in total, 500 people.

The Yorkshire five piece have recorded  six albums in their career so far,  from their debut in 1998 (The Good will Out ) to their most recent self titled record (Embrace) in 2014.  Their highly anticipated new album (Love is a basic need) is out next year (2018) and the band have said their latest release is much like their debut offering and  is a classic return to their original sound.

If your new to their music and still need a little convincing about attending their concert, perhaps this quote from ‘Flick of the Finger’ will win you over,

“They are definitely a band that will stand the test of time and one that I recommend you go see, seriously, some bands are just better live”

In addition, Sam Airey will be the support act. Like a lot of singer songwriters Sam’s music is a unique interpretation of how he sees the world. He has recently created his latest release “In Darkened Rooms”, which is a beautiful soundscape of guitar inspired music.
