~Ahh the idyllic countryside in Gisburn Forest. It’s oh so quiet it’s oh so still and so peaceful until……The drummer makes a thundering sound, the guitarist plugs in their amp and the singer hollers out vocals enough to wake up the squirrels and badgers that lurk beneath the very heart of Gisburn Forest.
Yes. Cloudspotting Music and Arts Festival is returning once again for a weekend of highs and lows. From the raucous sound of the electric guitar to the more mellow feel of the arts and crafts available to view for your delectation.
It’s returning for it’s seventh consecutive year at Gisburn Festival and it falls on the weekend of the 28th , 29th and 30th July 2017. It’s catered for adults and children so for the adults there’s the stages of emerging and established alternative music whereas for the youngsters there is family theatre, music workshops and themed arts and crafts.
Some of the acts lined up over the weekend include ‘This is the Kit’, ‘Hannah Peel’ and ‘The Wave Pictures’. In addition to sophisticated arts and music the adults can indulge in the finest ales in the Beer Tent.
