Spotlight On CCG Members :- Mr. Dave Kirkwood

~~Cast your mind back to thirty years ago:- 1987 . Some of us may have been at school, some college, or even further we could be in the world of work and full time employment. It was during this time that the focus of this month’s ‘Spotlight on CCG Members’ developed his interest in design and marketing specialising in brand development, launch strategy and building brands.

Now it is 1992 and Mr. Dave Kirkwood begins what becomes a 25 year career into the aforementioned areas of interest.

Having cultivated this background Dave managed to successfully become a designer, creative consultant, speaker and teacher. No doubt drawing on his two and half decades in design to confidently speak about matters that are most  important to him.

As a creative consultant he has been able to build multi-million pound businesses from scratch and worked with many dozens of businesses, from sole traders to blue chip companies and household brands, across most sectors.

Dave has widened out his interest and developed his skills , which in, turn has introduced him to a whole team of new and exciting trailblazers, including, business teams, entrepreneurs, creative professionals, SMEs and corporate brand guardians. This has enabled him to develop value lead brand evolution, internal cultural change, and innovation. 

In addition his work for screen and print hasn’t gone unnoticed. He has won multiple awards and has been published many times.

Five years ago (2012) he created 3hundredand65 a Graphic Novel 1 tweet and 1 drawing a day. All proceeds went to Teenage Cancer Trust.

Now in 2017 , Greater Manchester’s Mr. Dave Kirkwood is no doubt continuing the work he began back in 1992, making a significant contribution to society and the world around him.
