Rory Bremner 'Partly Political' 20th Feb 2017 Preston Charter Theatre

Dec, 7 2016

~30 years ago the political landscape consisted of the late Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan.  A defining era that saw the two political alliances deal with the then troublesome decade.

30 years ago a young Rory Bremner created his alternative political landscape which  parodied the above political giants much to the amusement of his viewers.

Now in 2016 a new breed of political figures have emerged. Think Theresa May, Donald Trump, Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage. Yes, this years catastrophic brexit error created distrust for the United Kingdom but it also gave birth to some new comic creations for Bremner to indulge in.

On Monday 20th February 2017 Rory Bremner brings his ‘Partly Political’ broadcast to the Preston Charter Theatre in a show that will have you in hysterics as he  mocks the current breed of political leaders.

The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are priced at £19.50. To obtain them you need to contact the box office on :- 01772 80 44 44.

The Guild Hall and Charter Theatre can be found on Lancaster Road, Preston, Lancashire in amongst a recently developed series of cafes and restaurants of which you can enjoy  prior to the  show.

With past credentials to his name such as Spitting Image and The Now Show it’s no surprise that Bremner is a master of his art and with a string of awards under his belt ( BAFTA'S Top Comedy Performance, 3 Royal T.V. Society and 2 Brit Comedy Awards) you can be assured that this a show that will not disappoint.
