UCLAN Open Day Sunday October 16th 2016

~Thinking about returning to education as a mature student? Perhaps your looking for that progression in your career from the college classroom. The University of Central Lancashire is calling out to the above and has provided a special day in which you can find out more about a certain  course or the environment in which you wish to learn and explore your potential.

This Sunday 16th October 2016 UCLAN are hosting an Open Day for new or returning students.

Here are some of the great things you can expect to experience this coming Sunday :-

* You can talk to course tutors about the subjects you want to study and view the building you could be studying in.

* Preview specialist teaching facilities such as the engineering and computer labs music, dance and media studios, editing suites and moot court room.

* Have a discussion with current students to see what life is like at UCLAN.

If, for whatever reason you are unable to attend an Open Day, Campus Tours are an excellent alternative. From there you can see the campus, talk to academics and get friendly advice about admissions, accommodation or finance. They are held every Wednesday. Also, self-guided campus tours provide ample time to discover UCLAN at your own, relaxed pace.

Other areas of interest to consider at the Open Days include :-

*A chance to have a look at the city of Preston itself. You could be studying here for a number of years so it’s important you like the city and the many social places it provides.

* Concerns about finance? Help and expert advice will be readily available.

* Investigate the many societies and clubs :- an integral part of your learning is to socialise and have fun, find out how by asking.
