Fleetwood Bac Tribute Act Feb 2017

Sep, 1 2016

~It’s true to say that there have been some noteworthy tribute acts over the past forty years or so. The seventies brought us Swedish equivalent Bjorn Again, the 1980’s gave us indie group The Smiths Indeed and in the 90’s Britpop favourites were given a Manchester makeover with No-Way-Sis.

Now in 2016 you can enjoy a band whose hits crossed the Atlantic airwaves from their bluesy rock beginnings to their changed 70’s pop rock sound.

Yes, Fleetwood Mac have been entertaining audiences with their great songs and live concerts prior to the 1970s. In fact ‘the mac’ were delivering songs in their early incarnation as a blues outfit at the height of Beatlemania in the late 1960’s.

On 24th February 2017 Fleetwood Mac are Bac, no, literally, their tribute act is titled ‘Fleetwood Bac’ and their appearing at The Grand early 2017. Tickets are priced at £15 with doors opening at 7pm and the band hitting the stage at 7.45pm. The evening is expected to close at 10.45pm.

Please note :- a £1.50 booking fee is applicable per transaction by phone or via box office. Advance purchase of tickets is always more cost effective than paying on the door. Stage times are an approximation. For those with disabilities those circumstances are considered. Call The Grand venue in advance of the event regarding disabilities or additional requirements. For a full list of terms and conditions email the grand at :- hello@thegrandvenue.co.uk or ring :- 01200 421 599 to also book tickets.

The Grand is found on 18, York Street, Clitheroe, Lancashire. It sits amongst a busy town with cafes, pubs and restaurants to enjoy at your leisure. Why not take the time to experience some of the regions finest dining establishments before sitting down to the big concert.

Fleetwood Bac are the world’s first and regarded as the UK’s most authentic tribute show. They are the only group to be actually endorsed by the one and only Mick Fleetwood himself  and raved about by Peter Green’s biographer. They also stand alone in being the only tribute band to replicate the classic Stevie/Lindsey/Christine/John/Mick ‘Rumours’ line up.

In 2016 drummer Mick Fleetwood is the only original member present in Fleetwood Mac. The remaining members have gone on to have successful solo careers.

In 2017, however you can relive ‘the mac’ in their finest hour :- 1970’s and 1980’s.  “Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow.”
