Feb, 18 2016

~He made a name for himself with bands such as Ace, Squeeze and Mike and the Mechanics. His hits include ‘How Long’, ‘ Tempted’ and ‘The Living Years’. He has a unique soulful voice which is a must for his millions of fans all over the world.

He is quite simply 34 Carrack Gold. The BBC have even referred to him past and present as ’The Man with the Golden Voice’.  I am of course referring to the legendary Sheffield born singer Paul Carrack.

Why 34 Carrack Gold ? You may ask. Well, Paul’s hitting the road soon ( no, he’s not quitting music!)  and he’ll be performing his classic hits in 34 separate venues.

Here he speaks of his excitement about his next series of gigs coming soon to the North West,

" I can't wait to get back out on the road again in 2016. I love touring in the UK and I've chosen 34 of my favourite venues to perform in.”

Fortunately for Lancashire folk he’s chosen Preston as one of those esteemed locations. Yes,  Paul is coming to the Preston Guild Hall on Saturday 12th March kicking his setlist off at 7.30pm and playing well into the night.

Tickets are priced at £28.50 and the Golden Circle is priced a mere ten pounds more at £38.50. To book tickets simply contact the Box Office on :- 01772 80 44 44. If your still a little undecided whether you’d like to see Carrack perform his greatest hits, perhaps several simple facts will affirm your decision :-

Paul’s songs have been covered by giants of music such as the laidback groove of The Eagles, soul diva Diana Ross and the big band sound of Tom Jones.

He is constantly in demand as a session keyboardist and has recorded and toured with piano ballad favourite Elton John, blues ace Van Morrision, rock legend Roger Walters, the late great BB King and recently on former  Cream guitarist Eric Clapton’s world tour.

He is a key figure in British pop history and an all round musical talent.
Experiencing a Paul Carrack is seeing magic being played out by gifted musicians and skilled songwriters. It really is truly something very special.

The facts are clear evidence and speak for themselves that this is a one-off, uniquely talented and must see performer. With those big names to his profile  demonstrates his adaptability, technique and, above all, the connection with the audience, his biggest fans.

See the magic unfold :-
