~If I was to mention the name ‘Noel’, which famous faces would you  place with that name? Former Oasis song smith Noel Gallagher perhaps? Once legendary Saturday night entertainment personality Noel Edmonds? Or maybe the late  playwright Noel Coward?

What if I was to mention the name Noel Fielding? What programmes or traits would you associate with this bohemian chap? Think, The Mighty Boosh, ponder  Never Mind the Buzzcocks and consider  Luxury Comedy. You’ve then got the makings of a truly  unique, creative, imaginative and quite frankly off the wall character.

If you’re a fan of this quirky comedian the great news is that he’s appearing at the Blackburn King Georges Hall on Saturday 28th November 2015 at 8pm. Billed as ‘An Evening with Noel Fielding’, you can expect his witty banter with the audience, live animation, music and some of his well known characters including ‘The Moon’ and ‘Fantasy Man’.

He really does live in his own fantasy bubble too. With several awards under his name such as the Perrier Best Newcomer, The Barry Humphries Award and the Douglas Adams Award for innovative writing this is  eccentricity at it’s very best.

So how can you, your loved one, or friends and family purchase a ticket for this class act? Simply contact The King Georges Hall on :- 01254 582579 or email events@kinggeorgeshall.com Tickets are priced at £25 per person and you can  have a meal before the gig at Blakey’s round the corner.

This comedy circuit marks Fielding’s first trek on tour in five years and with past performances at The Royal Albert Hall, The Sydney Opera House and Radio City Hall it should come as no surprise that he intends to bring his off beat friends to enhance the madness in the form of Mike Fielding ( Naboo/Smooth ) and the physical lunacy of Tom Meeton ( The Mighty Boosh/ Oram and Meeton)

In the words of co-host on comedy music quiz ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’ Phil Jupitus, Fielding is simply described as a “gothic George Best!!”. Go see for yourself at this modern take on life, the universe and everything in it.
