Belief in your strengths and the strengths of others is what makes this month’s ‘Spotlight on CCG Members’ so unique. Helping people to identify what they are good at is the very thing that Bridlington based Kelly Adams inspires her to go on. Let us discover more about her profile.

In her school days she was the star pupil under the subjects –

• Business
• Economics
• IT
• Commerce

She excelled in these areas over the course of 17 years in secondary and sixth form education. Her knowledge allowed her to teach and capitalize on what she has learnt.

Her interest in young people develops further as she is a key provider in creating a platform for the youth of today by establishing independent living and working within a supportive workplace.

Kelly’s involvement with young people has given her the confidence to be a strong advocate for student – centred learning. She believes that taking this approach will ensure every young person is able to find their talents and shine.

In addition, Kelly supports the FREDIE concept which includes-

• Fairness
• Respect
• Equality
• Diversity
• Inclusion

She strongly supports the LGBTQ+ community and believes everyone has the right to equality.

Kelly’s current vocational role is product manager for level 1 and below qualifications. These include Entry Level and Life Skills such as Work Skills and Personal Growth and Wellbeing.

Kelly hopes to show up in spaces where she can make a difference.
