The first ever Lancashire Photography Festival comes to the streets of Preston

They say “a picture paints a thousand words” so an image which portrays the lives of locals who’ve been caught up in the pandemic over the past year will reveal the very strength of character and the personal trials they’ve overcome as we gradually move out of lockdown.

 

Last Friday (April 2nd ) the first ever Lancashire Photography Festival debuted on the streets of Preston. 

 

The outdoor event will showcase the work of three leading documentary photographers:-

Budding local camera men and women  will also see their work exhibited over a seven week period. They will take centre stage across walls, hoardings, in shops windows and on specially-built displays in order to comply with government guidance.
