Spotlight on CCG Members - Professor David Michael Lieb - February 2021

Feb, 3 2021

Every good building starts with a dream. A dream to create something that will last for generations to come. That is primarily the role of an architect. It just so happens to be the profession of  this month’s ‘Spotlight on CCG Members’ as we learn more about American based David Michael Lieb.

When David was a young man he embarked on a course that would shape his entire life. He studied at both The Pratt Institute School of Architecture in Brooklyn New York and Harvard University Graduate School of Design.  At these prestigious institutions he managed to achieve a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master in Design Studies in History and Theory.

As he matured into his role as a practicing architect he soon carved out an additional niche as an artist. David is the founder of LIEBSTUDIOS in Salem, MA. His paintings and collage works have been exhibited in the following places:-

  • New York City
  • NW Arkansas
  • Massachusetts

These were shown in both solo and group exhibitions.

David specializes in accessibility and Universal Design, presenting internationally on Evidence-Based Research in Universal Design and Person-Centered Design.

As a third string to his bow David is also an educator, as a Professor under his field of expertise.

Clearly, a highly accomplished individual that has garnered sufficient life experience to teach, to create and to design. We are delighted to have you on board with the CCG and we look forward to seeing what you can bring to the table.
