COVID-19 Rapid Testing Centre Available in Preston

COVID-19 Rapid Testing Centre Available in Preston

Jan, 12 2021

With infection rates rising and political figures alerting us that we’re in an especially bad phase with the pandemic it would be good for us to take a test if we’re feeling a little apprehensive about the state of emergency not just locally but on an international level too.

The Quwwat Education Centre on Peel Hall Street Preston is being utilised as a rapid covid-10 testing centre. It will be available to the public on Mondays and Thursdays between the hours of 11am - 4pm.

These tests will be administered by The Lancashire Resilience Forum with the confident backing of the army to lend support.

The following results will be sent to participants around half an hour after having the test. Please note:- extra caution has been enforced, encouraging residents to take a test twice a week while the service is currently available to them.

In addition, you do not need to be showing any apparent symptoms to take a test and no appointment is needed.

If each and everyone of us contributes to the livelihood of Preston and it’s nearby inhabitants, the numbers of deaths can significantly be reduced. Taking a test means you’re considering the life of not just your own but your friends, family and close neighbours. Please take this seriously and take action to this advisory measure which could save your life.
