Inspiral Carpets At 53%Sunday 21st December

In 1994, The Inspiral Carpets were on a crest of a wave having released their latest album and having already made 'This is how it feels' ' Two worlds collide' and ' She comes in the fall' indie classics of the genre.

Now in 2014, 20 years since their last record they are back with a self titled album and a series of two singles that have been a favourite amongst their loyal fans. These include,  'You're so good for me' and ' Fix your smile' as well as a string of ten other new songs on the album.

The good news? They're back in the North West of Preston playing at the city's most established venues the 53%. Supporting them will be Manchester's garage rockers 'Brown Brogues' and Stockport's psychedelic revivalists 'Blossoms'.

The 53% is located on Brook Street, Preston near The Ferret and is really home to an excellent brand of local and international music as well as comedy and themed evenings.
