More than ever children and young people are increasing their use of social media for schoolwork, social life, fun and entertainment. It is important parents and carers ensure children and young people are using social media safely and not putting themselves at risk of inappropriate actions, online abuse, bullying or exploitation. 

 

Karen Livesey works for C.A.T. Child sexual exploitation Awareness Training and she is a qualified teacher, youth worker and experienced trainer. She is also an Associate trainer for Talking Life and Barnardo's.
