Key Features Of The CCG - 4. Allied Organisations - 14/04/20

Apr, 14 2020

~Welcome to ‘Key Features of The CCG’. Each week until a level of normalcy returns to the fray I’ll be highlighting the fantastic elements that make up the CCG website. This week I’m looking at ‘Allied Organisations’.

An allied organisation is an organisation/trade or industry that actively supports one another.

The CCG is made up of 81 Allied Organisations spanning over three pages. These include the following :-

1. Dance Syndrome
2. GuideDotYou Change Solutions
3. Design in Mental Health Network

Let’s learn a little about each of the above allied organisations.

1. Dance Syndrome.

This fantastic organisation was formed in 2009 and has gone from strength to strength. The model is embraced by people of seniority from the worlds of business, micro-enterprise, disability, dance and social care.

All DanceSyndrome dancers strive to act in a professional manner delivering workshops and performances of the highest level.

2. GuideDotYou Change Solutions

Phil Parramore teaches people through a variety of means how to create their business and receive valuable support when their business is established.

He has a specialist knowledge within business planning and people performance in relation to following areas :-

  • Starting up and essential growth
  • Learning how to adapt to change
  • Removing unnecessary barriers
  • Installing plans to eradicate weak performance.

3. Design in Mental Health Network

This excellent team of individuals are united in their shared interest in helping to build and create positive environments in which mental health patients will convalesce until they are more able to integrate with the wider world again.

By talking about their ideas and experiences they  can develop shared understandings and generate effective team-working

Other Allied Organisations include the following:-

  • · Royal College of Nursing
  • · BBC Radio Lancashire
  • · Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation
  • · Hemingway Design
  • · ITV News
  • · Lancashire County Council
  • · National Forum For Health and Wellbeing
  • · Preston City Council
  • · Preston Arts Association
  • · PR1 Media Productions
  • · Reading the World

‘Allied Organisations’ sits central between ‘Patrons’ and ‘News’ on the official CCG  website.

Without the aforementioned organisations The CCG would feel like a portrait in an empty gallery, alone and without the support that make it such a positive organisation itself which continues to represent the glowing culture of Preston city centre.
