Music Video Made For NHS

Music Video Made For NHS

Apr, 10 2020

~There are negative and positive ways we can respond to the recent pandemic crisis. If you’re a creative person you will react in a positive way and find the strength within yourself to do something which will capture the heart of nation in a poignant and profound way.

That was true of Lostock Hall filmmaker Simon James. He created a three minute music video with a song written and produced by Jake Pilkington and John Markey, as a tribute to all the people fighting on the front line of the coronavirus pandemic.

Simon expressed the significance of the video in his own words,

“I am trying to get the message out that we should all follow the government advice to prevent the spread of covid-19. The NHS is so important and they deserve respect.”

Usually Simon spends his time as a freelance videographer  creating adverts for businesses and music videos. With lockdown in full motion he wanted to use his resources to develop the film ‘Lonely Solider’ to share the message of support for the NHS.

You can access the video by logging onto You Tube and typing in - Lonely Soldier (Dedicated to the NHS).
