Spotlight On CCG Members - Jonathon Moss - April 2020

Apr, 1 2020

~~It’s true to say that you should never underestimate the abilities of a dyslexic person. For many it can serve as a strength, not a weakness. That’s exactly how Jonathon Moss, the focus for this month’s ‘Spotlight on CCG Members’ has positively engaged with it. Let us learn more about this Lancashire based person.

Jonathon invested in some considerable time studying Visual Culture at Salford and then gaining his MA. He managed to secure a Fine Art studio practice from the University of Central Lancashire.

Following this he was able to teach Fine Art and Design. His unique perception of the world around him has enabled him to teach art effectively and successfully.

As a practicing Artist, Jonathan has shown work across Europe in the following five countries:-

1. Switzerland
2. Germany
3. Serbia
4. America
5. UK.

Jonathon’s next venture saw him broaden his horizons. He wanted to explore  how ideas are formed. In particular, how teams work together to develop ideas to innovate. It has inspired him so much that he has managed to connect with professional experts in creativity across Europe and America to find out ‘best practice an approaches’ that have been developed and designed by the quintessential of their kind.

This research has been the basis behind Jonathan’s exciting project of ‘Idea Consultancy’ a concept which designs and facilitates creative problem solving workshops for business and organisations.

Jonathan continues to use his work to develop approaches to creative thinking and problem solving.

As well as his creative side Jonathon has also helped many people over the years find both stability and the ability to achieve great things in their life. He does this through coaching. He has met many individuals who suffer with low-self esteem and lack of confidence to believe they can do good in their life. Jonathon helps them get back on track.

He describes himself in four ways:-

1. Entrepreneur
2. Facilitator
3. Dyslexic
4. Artist
