~Some performance poetry is designed to amuse and entertain it’s audience. One such author is Andre Mangeot.

Yet for his impending performance he is reading work which is of a serious nature, quite appropriate for the times we’re living in.

‘Environmental Poetry Reading - Andre Mangeot’ will take place next  Wednesday 25th March from 4pm -6pm at UCLAN’S Livesey House, Room LH202, Preston Campus.

The performance will coincide with the release of his recent book ‘Blood Rain (Seren)’.

Andre is the winner of the Robert Graves Prize. His work is available to view in major publications such as the Times Literary Supplement and The Spectator.

Despite his light performance work he readily delves in themes relevant to our time. These range from :-

  • Climate change
  • Warfare
  • Environmental damage.

Mangeot is the author of two acclaimed short story collections and two previous poetry collections.

Please note :-The event is free to attend and no booking is required.
