~So you’ve got an established business. Everything seems to be running ok but could over-confidence be a flaw in your work ethic? Could a little extra help and guidance be the boost that your business needs right now?

Next Tuesday 10th March Propeller Networking are hosting another beneficial event. ‘Making money with the 5 Business Drivers’ will look at  how to focus on the right problems and find solutions that work long-term. Rather than patch-jobs that keep things ticking over, Matchbook Associates is here -to help you develop the understanding needed for a smooth operation.

It will take place at UCLAN’S Creative Innovation Zone, 4th floor of the Media Factory, between the hours of 4pm - 7pm.

The discussion will be delivered by experienced entrepreneur Jaan Scott - Matchbook Associates Ltd.

He will teach the interested public the following four key things:-

  1. Understand your business performance by using the right metrics
  2. How to choose which employees to involve in financial operations
  3. How the 5 key drivers of business work together to effect business performance
  4. Improved understanding of cash flow, profit & loss, assets and balance sheets

Matchbox Associates helps ambitious companies to become bigger and more successful. That’s often about achieving increased turnover, higher profits, implementing projects faster or finding new customers.

Propeller Networking gives all who attend  the opportunity to network with like-minded people in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. A pizza buffet (with vegetarian/vegan options)will be available.

The workshop is partially funded by the U Start project to support students, graduates and university staff to unlock their entrepreneurial potential and become enterprise ready. This event in in conjunction with Lancashire Forum Creative.

Do you know how your business works? We would hope so, but we’re all guilty of blagging it every now and again. A lot of entrepreneurs start off by winging it – they’ve got a product to sell or they’ve got the contacts to use – understanding the nitty-gritty isn’t a priority  this event however will open your mind to the possibility of  finding a stress free approach to developing your business:-
