~More and more people are discovering the television is a dying source of entertainment. That being the case where can locals gather together to feel uplifted and in a positive state of euphoria at the end of the evening?

The Preston People’s Choir meets every Tuesday at UCLAN’S Media Factory in Room ME226. It is a two hour session running from 7pm - 9pm.

‘What is the unique selling point  upon becoming a member of the Preston People’s Choir?’, you may ask. Well, as part of a natural voice choir all voices are welcome meaning there are no auditions and no previous experience of music-making is required.

Choir teacher  Moira Hill as over 15 years experience and  will direct the group. She will teach them songs in the sessions by repeating back lines sung by her.  The occasional performances take place throughout the year too. These are usually done in Preston and in the local district.

Cost of admission is £3 - £6 depending on your  ability to pay.
Please note :-Children must be accompanied throughout by a responsible adult.
