Lara Harrison
Lara is the Managing Director of Superstar PAs and serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Lancashire speaker and consultant, she shares her insights on entrepreneurship and business management.
Having left home at 16 after a challenging childhood, Lara initially found her footing in the Financial Services sector.
Despite climbing the corporate ladder, she launched her own Worldwide Virtual Assistant business, Superstar PAs, in 2015 after a difficult experience in her previous job.
Her journey took a significant turn when, while pregnant, she discovered her husband’s infidelity, leading to a challenging divorce and the responsibility of raising her daughter alone.
Despite these hardships, Lara grew her business into a thriving enterprise with a team of 16 and six-figure revenues.
In July 2022, Lara embraced various lifestyle changes including giving up alcohol, which she credits with transforming her life and helping her break free from unhealthy habits.
Beyond her business, Lara is committed to mentoring future entrepreneurs, blending real-world experience with academic insights to enhance students’ employability.
Her keynote speeches trace her inspiring journey, from her early challenges to setting up a successful business.
Lara’s consultancy work focuses on optimising processes for micro and small to medium-sized enterprises, using her extensive experience in time management and client relations to drive business success.
Outside of work, Lara enjoys spending time with her blended family, reading, walking, and CrossFit.
