Simran, born in India and raised in Canada, is a first-year MBBS student at UCLan with a rich background in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. Her academic and professional interests are deeply rooted in sports medicine and exercise science, with a particular passion for women's health. Simran envisions creating a holistic health clinic dedicated to women, addressing the interconnected facets of women's health with a focus on integrative care.

Simran's ambitions extend beyond medicine into the realms of entrepreneurship and innovation. She is keen on developing digital products and leveraging e-commerce platforms to enhance healthcare accessibility. Her fascination with health technology, particularly the use of AI, reflects her forward-thinking approach to modern medical practices.

Her interests are not confined to healthcare alone. Simran is an avid writer and poet, having been published six times in Canada’s national poetry competition, Polar Expressions. She shares her literary creations on her growing Instagram page, @storiesbysims. Additionally, she plans to start a podcast discussing women's health, interdisciplinary medical practices, and South Asian mental health.

Simran's holistic vision includes integrating healing psychology and medical architecture into her clinic, emphasizing the creation of healing spaces that foster well-being. Her creative prowess shines through her love for developing products, crafting marketing slogans, and writing blogs. Naturally inclined towards leadership, she enjoys networking and meeting new people, always seeking guidance to bring her innovative ideas to life.
