Jane Anthony | Executive Dean of the Faculty of Culture and the Creative Industries

Jane became Executive Dean of the Faculty of Culture and the Creative Industries at University of Central Lancashire in May 2018, having previously been Head of Lancashire Law School.
The Faculty oversees education, research and knowledge exchange in the areas of arts, media, humanities and language.
With over 20 years of HE experience, Jane is passionate about ensuring that education provides an opportunity for all and instils an ethos within the Faculty based on excellence and inclusivity.
Jane’s focus is on embedding creativity and enterprise within a trans-discipline approach to education and she works with a number of external stakeholders, nationally and internationally.
Jane is a past President and member of the Preston Incorporated Law Society, a member of the Preston Cultural Framework Board and has recently been appointed to the Preston Towns Fund Board as its cultural representative.
Jane is also proud to serve the broader northwest region as a governor at Furness College.
