Katherine Beckett is a BA Hons fine art student who is currently working towards her goal ofbeing a full time practicing artist. Although now Preston based, Katherine grew up in Blackpool and uses her practice as a way to explore the hardships Blackpool has faced due to its budget cuts and believes in using her platform as a university student as a way of communicating the messages of those in her community who struggle to do so.
