Following her degree in Fine Art, Louise has worked in the creative industry for over 20 years, first as an in-house designer and then becoming director of her own studio, Hornbill Studio Ltd. Louise designs and creates surface pattern artwork for the UK and international market for use on fabrics and soft furnishing, greetings cards and stationery. She has a proven track record for answering a set brief commissioned by clients to bring fresh and commercially aware designs to the market that are successful and have longevity.

The combination of her design knowledge and fine art background has resulted in several beautiful wall art collections sold in major muti-chain outlets across Europe including Next in the UK and Pottery Barn in the USA. Her traditional painting style has now been recognised both nationally and internationally and is often described as sophisticated, elegant and contemporary.

Louise has illustrated a children’s book entitled “The Happiest Man in the World” published by Hodder Children’s Books and Written by award winning author Mij Kelly.

Louise’s work is constantly evolving and her fresh and contemporary style adds sophistication to any project. Always open to new opportunities and collaborations she welcomes a challenge to create artwork for any new product or audience.
