Born and educated in Preston, Trisha spent a short period in the Civil Service before working for British Aerospace mainly in IT and Information Management. Whilst working at British Aerospace Trisha took part in the first ever Global Research Project being the technical representative and editor of the final report and also obtained an MBA from UCLAN.  Trisha then worked in Information Management for a company headquartered in Sweden before leaving to set up a partnership with others from the company. Whilst in the partnership she also set up as a female handyman mainly helping people vulnerable adults and charities.  From a young teenager Trisha has been involved in various charity work from collecting for cancer charity, visiting prisoners to  decorating for elderly people. After getting married to Brian, she cycled for the Jubilee Debt Campaigns, was on the board of the now defunct Lancashire Global Education Centre, is the area co-ordinator of Global Justice Now Central Lancashire, is on the boards of Preston HIV Support Team and Preston Twinning Partnerships, is a member of Let’s Grow Preston, and is chair of Friends of Avenham and Miller Park. From May 2017 to May 2018 was Mayoress of Preston to her husband Brian.
