After ignoring the pressures to continue formal education John started his career journey as an Apprentice Telecommunications Engineer with the GPO.  John now has over 40 years’ experience in Research Commercialisation, Marketing, Strategic Alliances and Corporate Venturing and has held various management positions with Xerox Corporation, Fujitsu Europe Ltd and Canon Europe Ltd and currently is an advisor to the European Commission for ICT projects and business models.

John’s passion is ‘business disruption’, from being an ‘Intrepreneur’ within international organisations to an ‘entrepreneur’, co-founding a Machine Learning / AI company.

Having moved to West Norfolk some 16 years ago his real passion is to develop a model to regenerate the economic and the social landscape of Rural and Coastal regions through a framework delivering early years education and aspirational demand based skills of the future and self-sustaining rural economy programmes.
