In Memory of Keith Burnley who sadly passed away in 2020.
Keith is a higher education consultant and has worked at the interface between higher education and its stakeholders for over twenty years. A physicist by training, previously he worked in the textile and electricity supply industries for twenty years and was an elected member of Leeds City Council for fourteen years. Keith was CEO of the National Centre for Entrepreneurship in Education from March 2013 to June 2016 and before that he established the North West Universities Association and the City and Regional Office at the University of Leeds. His experience of the higher education sector includes engagement with local and national government at all levels, business and community links, widening participation, validation, links with Further Education and Schools, European Structural Funds and international links, particularly with China. Keith also has significant experience of management within and outside of the HE Sector and a high level of political awareness.
