Former High Sheriff of Lancashire 2016/17

 

John founded the independent local radio station, Blackpool’s Radio Wave, where he remains Chairman; he founded the influential Blackpool Business Leaders’ Group and, along with his wife Danielle, ran the highly successful Stardream group of companies.

 

John was honoured with the MBE in 2000 and later in 2005 became a Deputy Lieutenant of Lancashire. John is also the Patron & founder of the Blackpool Carers Centre & supports many other local and national charities.

John is passionate & works tirelessly helping the local community as best as he can and has a number of credits including:

• Director of Blackpool Improvement District ( BID)
• Director of Lancashire Partnership against Crime (LANPAC)
• Past chair of the Blackpool Economic Development Working Group

• Honorary life membership of Macmillan
