I am a person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist working in Preston. I am the manager of Labyrinth Therapy Service which offers face to face and telephone sessions. I also run Circle Counselling Service a charity created in conjunction with Chorley Women's Centre. Circle offers free counselling to any one age 11 years and above who have experienced domestic abuse.

When I'm not working as a therapist I am a Crisis Worker at the Lancashire SAFE Centre working with the victims of rape and sexual assault. I have a long history of working with the victims of abuse and crime. I received a commendation from the Lancashire Constabulary for my work at the SAFE centre and received an award for my volunteer work with Victim Support.

I am currently completeing an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy at UCLAN and am very excited to be working with UCLAN in the Diversity Conference and the Health Mela's.

I have lived in Preston since 1999 when I came to study at UCLAN and have remained ever since and am still a student! I live with my partner and two cats and regard myself as an eco-chick as I recycle everything!

I am an avid reader and love Poirot, Miss Marple and Northern Exposure.
