Prone: UCLan Alumni Ultimate Frisbee Club

This is a new club set up by former members of UCLan Ultimate Frisbee who have been around for four years. They wanted to give back to the club, community and the area so they have set up their club Prone (a play on the PR1 postcode). They act as help for the current and incoming players of the club by holding once a month weekend sessions. They also act as a feeder club to UCLan’s team and will be an exit path for when they leave. We also invite surrounding community teams from other universities and clubs to ensure we have as many people as possible active and playing. Our main aim is to have as many people as possible playing Ultimate at our training sessions and eventually becoming a huge force around the country. We are happy to be Preston’s main representative when it comes playing Ultimate and we do so all over the UK and the odd tournament in Europe.
