Established in 1999 by award winning comedy creatores Steve Coogan and Henry Normal, Baby Cow Productions Ltd has gained an enviable reputation for nurturing new British comedy talent, whilst teaming up with the best of the UK's established writers, directores and producers.
In 2000 Baby Cow productions teamed up with Tim Searle to form Baby Cow Animation. In 2001 Steve Coogan and Henry Normal formed Baby Cow Films and Baby Cow Radio in 2003 .
In 2008 Baby Cow secured a joint venture agreement with BBC Worldwide acquiring 25% of the group.
As well as independent productions Baby Cow work with a number prestigious co-producers including: Channel X, Sprout Pictures, Hot Cod Productions, Grand Pictures, Rathergood.com, Lola Entertainment, Komedia Entertainment, Bonafide, Smiley Guy, Rhombus media and co-ventures with the BBC .
Baby Cow tailor programmes and formats for international broadcasters and are represented for sales by BBC Worldwide and (for the Sketch Show) by Avalon International, (for Monkey Trousers) by RDF Media and (for King of Fridges) by Minotaur.
