Dr Allison Jones

Executive Dean University of Central Lancashire Dr Allison Jones is the Dean of School of Forensic and Investigative Sciences and she joined UCLan in 2000, when the Centre for Forensic Sciences opened. She has been involved in the development and delivery of many of the courses offered by the school, particularly the forensic science and chemistry courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Her research interests lie in the areas of photochemistry, Raman spectroscopy, detection and analysis of trace evidence and, more latterly, handwriting and ink analysis.
