‘I manage the CCG_UK and I have worked on 'the role of the social worker in adult mental health' at Whitehall and various UCLan Equality and Diversity Conferences. I have presented at World Social Work Day at Kings College London; The North West Samaritan’s Conference, at Lancaster University and I organised and presented mental health conferences at UCLan and Huddersfield New College; delivering the highly evaluated 'Towards a better tomorrow' at Salford University and UCLan regularly.

I am an Integrative Psychotherapist and I have worked for Fylde Coast Counselling, Cruse Lancashire, Lancaster University and within my own Private Practice; Solve.  I have an interest in using creative methods for teaching like the use of juggling, music, storytelling, metaphor and role play and I am a qualified Post 16 Lecturer - having taught at Runshaw and Blackpool and the Fylde College, I am now a Lecturer at UCLan.

I use my counselling and coaching skills to help students establish their readiness to start their own entrepreneurial adventures.

I have written two books and I contributed to the CCG Creative Pathways to Education book of 2015. I have finished a blog following the FA Cup from grass roots football and covered games from 58 fans right through to 89,000 fans at the final; I am currently writing a follow up that compares the Women's FA Cup to the Men’s.’ I am also in the process of writing ‘The Mindset of the Creative Entrepreneur’ by interviewing established business people to see how they differ from those who choose to be employed.’
