Gayle Brewer

Location: Liverpool | UK

Gayle joined the University of Liverpool as a Lecturer in 2017. Research interests focus on romantic and sexual relationships from an evolutionary perspective. I am particularly interested in the influence of individual differences such as the Dark Triad personality traits. I also conduct research addressing education and the student experience. I am the Module Coordinator for the undergraduate project modules, year 3 media psychology module, and summer school programme psychology of communication module.

Before this, Gayle lectured at UCLan and it was there that she joined forces with CCG Chair Russell Hogarth to collectively write the 2015 book – Creative Education, Teaching and Learning. This collaboration came after she had joined the CCG.
