After nearly 40 years in Nursing, 22 years of which has been in diabetes. Starting back in 1991 as a School Nurse with an interest in diabetes to reaching the pinnacle of her career as a Nurse Consultant - Diabetes in the East of England, returning to Preston in 2011.

In 2012 joined the Northern Lights Business Hub and in 2014 launched Diabetes Complete Care UK becoming a Limited Company in June 2014.

Diabetes Complete Care UK intention is to bridge the gaps in diversity and inequality within Diabetes Care by those who may feel marginalised by society, in particular the older generation, who through no fault oftheir own other than old age find them selves living within Nursing/Care Homes or housebound.

Diabetes Complete Care Ltd is able to provide education to all involved in Diabetes Care or Self-management but really wants to engaged and help with face to face contact, aiding with the clinical assessments and care.

By doing so preventing unscheduled admissions, reducing the onset of 'Hypos' (low blood sugars), stabilising diabetes control, advising and carrying out medication and lifestyle reviews with the person, their familis and carers, ensuring their safe keeping.
