Stephen is CEO at Salvere, a community interest company and social enterprise focused on personalisation self service platform solutions, brokerage, direct payments advice and support planning. www.salvere.co.uk

Stephen began his social care career with young adults with mental health conditions. He went on to spend a decade focusing on children’s services before returning to all age social work and undertaking the role of Strategic Director of Adult Social Care. Stephen co-founded Salvere in 2010. The company has so far grown to support the development of community brokerage and citizen directed support in Lancashire and Wigan.

Stephen is a Director and Trustee for Skills for Care; the employer led authority on the training standards and workforce development needs of social care staff in England.  He is a social worker and an associate of the Association of Director of Adult Social Services.
