Have A Safe And Happy Bonfire Night!

Nov, 3 2015

The make up has been washed off, the kids are stuffed with sweets and the hangover has gone for adults and young people alike. Yes. Halloween is now a distant memory, there is however another event happening in a couple of days and no doubt well into the weekend. It is of course bonfire night!

An annual celebration to mark the day that trickster Guy Fawkes blew up the houses of parliament!! Am sure you've got your own do taking place in your neighbours back yard or perhaps your going to a village bonfire night event, whatever you do please be careful....

1.  Never allow children to light a firework.

2. Keep all pets inside.

3. If you do have a series of fireworks keep them in a tightly concealed box away from lighting material.

4. Supervise children with sparklers, they could easily hold the wrong end and that would be tragic.

5. Always make sure adults light the bonfire and fireworks.

6. Never allow children to go near the bonfire.

7. If you follow these steps your destined to have a safe, happy bonfire night.

8. Above all, have fun! Eat. Drink. Enjoy.

So do be careful this bonfire night, it's usually reported the day after or the night of bonfire night that several casualties have taken place, you wouldn't want to be that casualty. So stay safe and have fun.
