For something to continue it’s longevity it needs to enhance what it already provides.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach has been entertaining families for the past 125 years. It is one of the most famous landmarks in the Lancashire region yet now it is about to get a facelift to bring in more people for next years summer season.
Icon opened in 2018 and was the UK’s first double launch roller coaster. The ride accelerates at speed and takes passengers twisting and turning across the park, colliding with other rides. Next year however, it will go under the title ‘Enso’ and will be a development from it’s current model.
The Grand National opened in 1935 and remains Europe’s only twin - track racing coaster. Despite a slight panic this year, maintenance has been stabilized in order for it to make it’s return next year.
Valhalla is one of the Pleasure Beach’s most popular rides. It recently won Best Water Ride in the World at the Golden Ticket Awards. The ride will welcome back the public in a new re-imagined way for 2022.
A spokesperson gave these exciting words to prepare us for it’s return,
“Get ready to experience fantastic special effects and extreme elements like no other ride. This high speed, multi - sensory dark water ride takes you on a journey through scenes of fire, snow and freezing mists whilst you travel in Viking long boats on this six minute journey.
Complemented by a new stunning soundtrack to complete this multi- sensory experience - get ready to brave Valhalla - Back for 2022!”
Finally, the new ‘Rapture’ show as part of the Hot Ice Show is guaranteed to amaze audiences with a spectacular fast moving live performances located at the Pleasure Beach Arena.
This will take place from July 7th - September 10th and is aptly described as “ a dream that is brought to life by the stunning lighting that reflects the mood and magnificence of each scene”.
