Sarah Gardner is a dynamic and dedicated Programme Manager with extensive experience delivering transformational change and strategic business improvement projects, primarily across public sector organisations. With a full-time career managing complex programmes, Sarah brings a wealth of expertise in project delivery, leadership, and innovation.
Sarah holds multiple chartered and fellowship titles, a testament to her exceptional professionalism and commitment to lifelong learning. She is a Chartered Project Manager, Chartered Manager, Chartered Marketeer, and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), and Fellow of the Association of Project Management (APM). She is also a City & Guilds lifetime member.
A recognised leader in her field, Sarah was named Chartered Manager of the Year in 2022 by the CMI (CMI Awards 2022), and was previously shortlisted in 2020. She was also a finalist in the APM Project Manager Awards 2020.
Sarah’s achievements extend far beyond the boardroom. Her unwavering commitment to voluntary service has earned her several national honours, including the British Empire Medal (BEM) in the New Year’s Honours List 2022. British Citizens Award (2021), the League of Mercy Award, and the She was also recognised by her alma mater with a prestigious Alumni Achievement Award from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan spotlight).
Academically and professionally accomplished, Sarah holds a doctorate-level qualification and is certified in numerous methodologies including PRINCE2, Agile, Six Sigma (Black Belt), Kaizen, Scrum, Lean Management, ITIL, APMG Change Management, and a Level 8 qualification in Strategic Direction and Leadership.

Sarah’s volunteering spans multiple roles. She serves as a community champion for H4ALL, trustee of Elthorne Hillingdon Rotary Club and past president and 7th Hillingdon Scouts, and committee member of Click Rukiga. As the founder and admin of the Helping West London Group, she has facilitated the distribution of millions of pounds worth of essentials to those most in need.
Her past voluntary work includes 20 years as an Army Cadet Instructor, 4 years as a school governor, 5 years as a trustee of Hounslow Community Foodbox, and 3 years as Vice Chair of Thamesbank Credit Union. She also served as a COVID vaccinator and care caller, Emergency Response Officer, and has been a committed Dementia Champion.
A passionate neurodiversity advocate and proud mother to two neurodiverse children, Sarah channels her lived experience into inclusive leadership and support for others. She also supports numerous other charities and sponsors a child overseas.
