12 years ago, a devastating earthquake and tsunami hit Tohoku. The country took years to rebuild and sadly many lives were lost.

But imagine if, in the aftermath of such a tragedy the world got suddenly more surreal and a cast of characters illustrates the severity of how our minds can be distorted following a natural disaster.

An animation film is currently being shown till Thursday 6th April 2023 at HOME Arts Centre in Manchester.

Directed by Pierre Foldes, ‘Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman’ takes a unique spin on a tragedy. It breathes new life into a story which will have you transfixed from start to finish.
