They say laughter is the best source of medicine and with everything that’s happened in the last three years it could be the ultimate cure.

When the COVID-19 pandemic struck we suddenly had to take our lives very seriously. We couldn’t gather together at large events and enjoy social time with our family and friends.

For many of us we regard 2020 – 2023 as the ‘lost years’ but in the wake of the pandemic we’re beginning to loosen up again and ready to have a laugh.

The Southport Comedy Festival Under Canvas is returning to Victoria Park this autumn. It will take place from 29th September – 15 October 2023.

Some major names from the world of comedy will be there to give us a giggle plus some debut acts expecting to be future giants of humour.
