Reggae mixed with poetry – a concept you’d probably find in the 1970’s. However an iconic poet has revolutionised this discipline into the modern era.

Spanning a career over 40 years Kwesi Johnson is a unique poet. His ability to master the spoken word genre with themes of political struggle and reggae music has made him something of a legend.

Fans of his work will be delighted to know he will be in conversation with. writer Jacqueline Crooks for an unforgettable evening of poetry, prose and discussion about his life and work.
