If you’ve ever watched an incredible David Attenborough nature documentary you will know that the soundtrack is imperative to capturing the perfect scenes. Sometimes dramatic, other times calming and soothe.
Classical music is often the ‘go to’ music for any impelling nature programme. It can often reflect the scenes in which we are transfixed to for 60 minutes.
On Sunday April 2nd 2023 The Halle Orchestra are performing a series of classical favourites from 3pm at The Blackburn King George’s Hall.

Attenborough is soon about to launch his new nature series. ‘Wild Isles’ has been described as David’s ‘swansong’, his final programme prior to his retirement from being at the forefront of presenting cutting edge documentaries.
The series has been filmed over a duration of three years and uses the latest technology to capture dramatic new behaviour, from battling butterflies to hunting sea eagles and killer whales - revealing a previously unseen wild side of the British Isles.
It will no doubt feature a classical score that will draw us in as we watch every moment be described by this national treasure.
Soothing sounds from The Halle coming soon.
