HOME Gallery Spring 2023

A standard art gallery will exhibit the work of celebrated artists who have dedicated their lives into producing something that the public will find fascinating and will be a subject of conversation for days to come. These are generally very established artists who have been grafting for a considerable number of years and a forthcoming exhibition is only a mere glimpse into their work.

However, currently running is ‘HOME Gallery Spring 2023’ till Sunday 4th June. It’s an ideal opportunity to view works that span film, photography, painting and sculpture. These three solo exhibitions offer an exciting opportunity to see the work of three artists at critical stages of their careers:-

Natural Interaction, by artist Nick Jordan

Featuring new films, prints, photographs, painting and sculptural works, the exhibition explores the interdependencies between social and ecological healthcare or wellbeing.

Painting, An Unending, by artist Parham Ghalamdar

Ghalamdar’s work draws on traditions of Persian and Western art, graffiti, internet and digital culture. This is his largest institutional exhibition to date.

Is there anybody there?, by artist filmmaker Chris Paul Daniels

For this exhibition, Daniels has sourced 70 different films from the North West Film Archive at Manchester Metropolitan University, editing them together to create a monumental study of cultural traditions, procession and ceremony.

The exhibition is free to attend and no booking is required. HOME is closed Mondays but is open Tuesday – Saturday – 12noon till 8pm and Sundays 12noon till 6pm.
